The day kicked off at 8.30 am with face painting in the ICT suite. Thank you to Tracey, Mrs Walling, Mrs Nicks and Mr Garvey for doing such a good job.

Everyone looked great in their mufti – much of which was Children in Need or Pudsey themed…

In the afternoon, Pudsey Bear himself came into school to visit us and to thank us for all we’d done. We were so excited to see him and were really impressed by his dabbing!

Well done everyone – fantastic effort!

Boxes of Hope

Last half term, the School Council decided to support the Boxes of Hope Charity who collect shoe boxes full of Christmas gifts and deliver them to children in Eastern Europe.

We were delighted by the support we received from the families at Ellel! Over 70 boxes were donated and will bring real happiness and joy to children less fortunate than ourselves this Christmas.

Thank you very much to all those who supported this really worthwhile cause.

Children in Need Sponsored Dance

On the afternoon of Wednesday 11th November we held a sponsored dance in the school hall. The aim was to have continual dancing all afternoon and for children to collect sponsor money for completing the challenge. We had a great time raising money for this wonderful cause!
